📚 Parts of Speech

1. Noun

English: A noun is the name of a person, place, animal, thing or idea.

हिन्दी: व्यक्ति, स्थान, पशु, वस्तु या भाव के नाम को Noun (संज्ञा) कहते हैं।

Examples: Ram, school, dog, book, honesty
राम, विद्यालय, कुत्ता, किताब, ईमानदारी

🔍 पहचान: नाम पूछा जा सके तो Noun.

2. Pronoun

English: A pronoun is used instead of a noun.

हिन्दी: Noun की जगह आने वाले शब्द को Pronoun (सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Examples: I, we, you, he, she, it, they
मैं, हम, तुम/आप, वह, यह, वे

🔍 पहचान: नाम की जगह प्रयुक्त शब्द.

3. Verb

English: A verb shows an action or state.

हिन्दी: काम या अवस्था बताने वाले शब्द को Verb (क्रिया) कहते हैं।

Examples: run, eat, write, sleep, is
दौड़ना, खाना, लिखना, सोना, है

4. Adjective

English: An adjective describes a noun or pronoun.

हिन्दी: Noun/Pronoun की विशेषता बताने वाला शब्द Adjective (विशेषण) है।

Examples: good boy, red flower, five books
अच्छा लड़का, लाल फूल, पाँच किताबें

5. Adverb

English: An adverb tells how, when, where or how often an action happens.

हिन्दी: क्रिया की विशेषता बताने वाला शब्द Adverb (क्रिया-विशेषण) है।

Examples: slowly, quickly, yesterday, here
धीरे, जल्दी, कल, यहाँ

6. Preposition

English: A preposition shows the relation of a noun/pronoun with another word.

हिन्दी: संबंध बताने वाला शब्द Preposition (संबंधबोधक) है।

Examples: in, on, under, near, between
में, पर, नीचे, पास, बीच में

Example: The book is on the table.

7. Conjunction

English: A conjunction joins words, phrases or sentences.

हिन्दी: शब्दों या वाक्यों को जोड़ने वाले शब्द Conjunction (समुच्चयबोधक) हैं।

Examples: and, but, or, because, so
और, लेकिन, या, क्योंकि, इसलिए

Example: Ram and Shyam are friends.

8. Interjection

English: An interjection expresses sudden feeling or emotion.

हिन्दी: अचानक भाव या भावना व्यक्त करने वाला शब्द Interjection (विस्मयादिबोधक) है।

Examples: Wow! Alas! Hurrah! Oh!
वाह! हाय! जय हो! ओह!

9. Article

English: A, an and the are articles used before nouns.

हिन्दी: A, An और The को Articles कहते हैं।

1. Present Simple

English: Used for habits, routines and general truths.

हिन्दी: आदत, दिनचर्या और सामान्य सत्य के लिए।

Structure: Subject + V1(s/es) + Object

Helping: do/does (questions/negative)

I play cricket. — मैं क्रिकेट खेलता हूँ।
She goes to school. — वह स्कूल जाती है।

2. Present Continuous

An action happening now.

अभी हो रही क्रिया।

Structure: Subject + am/is/are + V-ing

Helping: am, is, are

I am reading. — मैं पढ़ रहा हूँ।
They are playing. — वे खेल रहे हैं।

3. Present Perfect

An action completed recently or with present result.

वह काम जो पूरा हो चुका है।

Structure: Subject + has/have + V3

Helping: has, have

I have finished my work. — मैंने अपना काम पूरा कर लिया है।
She has eaten food. — उसने खाना खा लिया है।

4. Present Perfect Continuous

An action that started in the past and is continuing.

जो काम भूतकाल में शुरू होकर अभी तक जारी है।

Structure: Subject + has/have been + V-ing + since/for

Helping: has been, have been

I have been studying for two hours. — मैं दो घंटे से पढ़ रहा हूँ।

5. Past Simple

A completed action in the past.

भूतकाल में पूरा हुआ काम।

Structure: Subject + V2 + Object

Helping: did (questions/negative)

I visited Delhi. — मैं दिल्ली गया था।
He played football. — उसने फुटबॉल खेला।

6. Past Continuous

An action that was continuing at a particular time in the past.

भूतकाल में किसी समय जारी काम।

Structure: Subject + was/were + V-ing

Helping: was, were

I was reading. — मैं पढ़ रहा था।
They were playing. — वे खेल रहे थे।

7. Past Perfect

An action completed before another past action.

भूतकाल की दूसरी घटना से पहले पूरा हुआ काम।

Structure: Subject + had + V3

Helping: had

I had finished the work before he came. — उसके आने से पहले मैंने काम पूरा कर लिया था।

8. Past Perfect Continuous

An action that had continued for a period before another past event.

भूतकाल की दूसरी घटना से पहले कुछ समय से जारी काम।

Structure: Subject + had been + V-ing + since/for

Helping: had been

She had been studying for two hours. — वह दो घंटे से पढ़ रही थी।

9. Future Simple

An action that will happen in the future.

भविष्य में होने वाला काम।

Structure: Subject + will + V1

Helping: will

I will help you. — मैं तुम्हारी मदद करूँगा।
She will come tomorrow. — वह कल आएगी।

10. Future Continuous

An action that will be continuing at a future time.

भविष्य में किसी समय जारी रहने वाला काम।

Structure: Subject + will be + V-ing

Helping: will be

I will be studying at 8 PM. — मैं रात 8 बजे पढ़ रहा होऊँगा।

11. Future Perfect

An action that will be completed before a future time.

भविष्य के किसी समय से पहले पूरा हो चुका काम।

Structure: Subject + will have + V3

Helping: will have

I will have finished the work by Monday. — सोमवार तक मैं काम पूरा कर चुका होऊँगा।

12. Future Perfect Continuous

An action that will have continued for a period up to a future time.

भविष्य में किसी समय तक लगातार जारी रहने वाला काम।

Structure: Subject + will have been + V-ing + since/for

Helping: will have been

By June, I will have been teaching for ten years. — जून तक मुझे पढ़ाते हुए दस वर्ष हो चुके होंगे।
